A few weeks ago, LinkedIn released a new feature that is already changing the feel of the entire platform. They introduced an option for videos to be uploaded natively. That means you can upload your videos straight to LinkedIn, instead of uploading it elsewhere, and sharing an external link.

The big shift is happening because video is definitely the way to go. All the respected social media platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and even Twitter, already adopted video. And LinkedIn couldn’t ignore the trend anymore.

The good news is, if you post a video natively, by uploading it straight to LinkedIn, it will likely try to show it to as many people as it can, as part of the introduction to its new algorithm. Make sure you take advantage of this new feature. If you’re struggling to engage with your audience, video can be an amazing alternative, where you can connect with them, by providing value.

If you don’t know how to start, what to say, or even what equipment to use, contact me for a free consultation, and I would love to have a chat to you and help you out.

My team and I also provide video editing services, which means that you can create your own content, and we will edit all the footage for you. Add an intro, subtitles, pack it all together, and send it back to you, ready to be published and shared online, on your favourite platform.

The bottom line here though is, LinkedIn is now offering a huge opportunity for your business to innovate, and be ahead of your competitors by using videos. Creating video content is actually fun. And it can create a lot of good information to your audience. And they will appreciate it. If you need a hand with anything, please feel free to contact me.
